What books do you recommend for new parents? We are expecting in August. I'm looking for great books on breast feeding, sleep, and parenting an infant (and parenting in general). I want to Learn all I can before he gets here! Thanks!!

I'm glad this question was asked. I'm due at the end of October and was just thinking of running to Half Price Books to browse the parenting section. Good luck with your pregnancy! We'll have to keep each other updated. This is my first.

I'm expecting at end of August as well. I just bought the book "Your baby's first year, week by week" and it is GREAT! It is written by two doctors, and they also wrote a your pregnancy, week by week book. So I think this book is loaded with great info, even activities you can do with baby starting at even week 1 or 2. Lots of advice, etc.

For breastfeeding I loved So That's What They're For. It was a funny, informative book.

Harvey Karp's The Happiest Baby on the Block.

Elizabeth Pantley's No-Cry Sleep Solution.
