How do I hide an ugly wall?

The wall where my desk is has about 4 circuit boxes along with the air conditioning unit. I can't covet the vent, but how can I cover the ugly gray and red and off white boxes? They are up by the ceiling and eye level. Help!!

Could you hang something from the ceiling to cover them? Maybe like a clothes line with student art or something hanging strategically over the circuit boxes?
