"Rate yourself as teacher 1-10" - how would you answer?

I had an interview today with principal, which I think went pretty well. But I wanted to see how everyone else would answer - "rate yourself as teacher 1-10."
I answered 7. I have 5 years experience, and I focused on positives while saying I would strengthen any negatives.
How would you all answer that question? I think saying a 10 would be automatically seen as baloney lol

Interesting! I would probably say an 8, talking about all the positives to my teaching, and indicating that there is always room to improve and grow, and I thing xxx (something specific about this school) would be beneficial to my growth and xxxx (something specific I have to offer) would benefit the school. That's my "top of the head" thought!

I would have said a 7 or an 8, following up with something along the lines of what GraceKrispy said.

Wow, I don't even know how to answer that!! My only teaching experience is student teaching/some subbing. I think I'm pretty good, everyone always complimented me in ST and while subbing but I know it's different when you have your own classroom.

I'd probably have answered 10, and then given them a great big smile and said nothing else.

Seriously.

I would have gone with a "9". I am always trying to be the best teacher I can, but always continue challenging myself to be a "10".

At one interview they asked the tired old question of "what is your biggest weakness"

I said kryptonite

I'd say 9. Ball in their court to prove I'm wrong with that assessment. Lol..
