Back to School Bulletin Board Using Pokemon Go

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I'm thinking of embracing the Pokemon Go craze and using it as the theme for my back to school bulletin board. I thought about making Pokeballs and putting all of my students names on them. Any ideas for a saying? Can you think of any other ideas? I did a little searching, but of course nothing is coming up (yet)!

I love it! You could keep it simple and just do Ms. Omahateacher Caught You as the title.

Maybe print a picture of the various Pokémon and put a pic of each kids face on one. They love when you put their faces on stuff. You could say "Look who Ms. So and so Caught!" Oh be sure to put your own fave on one too because they love that.

I LOVE your idea Claire! I am going to print their pictures out and add them to pokemon characters for my bulletin board outside my classroom door.
I'm looking forward to more pokemon ideas!

Pokemon Balls for 4th Grade

I made Poke balls. I used red and white paper plates. I cut them in half. I taped the red to the white half with black electrical tape. I'm planning to have their picture in the middle of the balls. My saying will be quoting the character Ash- I Choose You in bright yellow letters. Scattered through out the bulletin boards- I may have some Pokemon characters labeled math, writing, etc. i purchased a black plastic tablecloth to serve as a background. I purchased everything at the Dollar Tree for $5. The Pokemon characters- I'm downloading and printing them.
