More pieces of the puzzle are falling into place. We found the faucet and solved that problem. Of course, there is a delay in shipping, so the kitchen is still not functional until it comes in. Either Monday or 3 weeks from Monday.

I am so ready to be done--I know many of you can empathize with this! But given how well it goes with the copper sink, I'm willing to wait.

Your faucet is gorgeous! Selecting faucets took me forever (I was fast on countertops and cabinets). My kitchen faucet is a Moen, too, and I love it.

I think you’re so smart to be obsessed with your kitchen choices—we spend a lot of time in our kitchens and want them to be happy places.

Congrats on your faucet! It will look great with your gorgeous sink—well worth the wait.

Part of the obsession is because I'm afraid I'm just so over all this that I will make a snap decision and regret it.

My house has been INSANE since June.

We have done/hired out:
  • painted patio
  • replaced/upgraded exterior lighting
  • new roof
  • new hot water heater
  • new electrical box
  • ran 220 to the backyard
  • poured a concrete pad
  • installed hot tub on said pad with said power
  • replaced 4 bedrooms' carpet with that luxury vinyl flooring stuff...looks like wood but isn't?
  • painted my bedroom
  • new living room furniture
  • new kitchen cabinets
  • new kitchen countertops

I'm just dead tired of all this mayhem. But then I remember Jackie's recent remodel and think, "Eh, it's not as bad as what she endured."

Please don't be sorry. I want *more* pictures! I love remodels, and looking at house stuff.

I can't wait to see more of the process and the end product.

Like PPs, I enjoy reading about and seeing pictures of remodeling projects. I hope you continue to share.
PS. Your faucet will look stunning with a copper sink.

I'm faucet twinsies with meandmymouse and Jackie!

My husband did the math and I need about 870 pennies. Less than 10 bucks for the behind the vent backsplash? SOLD!

I blame suzy and Ruby for encouraging me. This is the sink and I am in love with it.

Sink

That is a beautiful sink! 8 might even keep that one clean and empty.

I remember this summer we were both pouring concrete slabs, getting 220 and installing hot tubs at the same time.

I also remodeled my bedroom, stripped to the studs, new wood floor, recessed lights, sheetrock and paint.

We built a walk-in closet, with laundry.

Now we are constructing our master bath that has been out of commission since February. We installed all new plumbing, new electric, built a walk in shower, moved plumbing, 2 pocket doors. Now we are tiling the floor, installing the clawfoot tub, all new lighting, building the vanity and 2 cabinets, installing counters, installing the shower plumbing and tiling the shower.

Slow and steady but finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

angela, I do remember! We are the chaos twins! I can't imagine the bathroom being unusable since February?

How much do you love having your own hot tub? I use mine every single day.

Hot tub

We love it and use it most days. This weekend we drained it and cleaned it. Wasn't as bad of a chore as I was dreading.

The unusable bathroom hasn't been that bad. We have 2 other bathrooms.

To add to my chaos last night the washer leaked all over my closet so today I had to go pick out a new set. It is a gorgeous new gray front load. But now we want to tile and seal the floor under the washer. An expensive unexpected expenses.

And I'm sure the old washer and dryer are fine. A cheap fix of a filter. But Dh wants to move it to the barn for farm and hunting clothes.

Yes, mine is Moen too. I had it installed at the back left corner, because I am right handed. Wash with and scrub with my right, rinse with left. Hold pots with my right, and fill with left, etc...I don't know why, but the lever movement made more sense and seems more natural with it placed there. I can be a little "different" sometimes though! Lol
