Need an OTC remedy...

My allergies are causing my ears a lot of trouble. Pain, pressure, etc. from sinus drainage. In past flare ups, sudafed (Or it's generic) have taken care of the pressure and gotten things better. It doesn't seem to be working this time. I want to give it a few more days before I make a call to the dr. I'm not sure how all of that works with a tele-appointment, and I'm a chicken. Any OTC things y'all could/would recommend if you've had sinus/ear troubles?

Thanks!

I take Sudafed nightly for ear issues and allergies (I had ear tubes 5 times as a child) and probably need them again.

But, having dealt with lots of ear infections and clogged ears... if you do warm compresses on your ear (well, under your ear, not on the opening to your ear) it helps to break everything up and drain it for you.

Warm rice bag over the ear

Mullenís garlic oil eat drops are great! You can get them at a health store or nd niceamazon.
Herb Pharm Mullein Garlic Herbal Oil - 1 Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001E8DBU8..._ozCZEbEFSSYK9

Have you tried a sinus rinse (Neti pot) for your sinuses?

Hope you feel better soon! For whatís its worth Iíve done two telemedicine appts now and I love them! It is so easy to do it from home. I hope they continue offering it as an option even after Covid is over.

Have you tried a Neti pot or Simply Saline?

Clearing the nasal passages, as much as possible, may help you feel better.

I had the same issue earlier this year. My ears hurt so bad! My doctor told me to do flonase and allegra. The flonase almost immediately cleared up my hurting ears!

Have you considered pressure points? Sometimes this brings me relief.
