I had to check to make sure today was actually Friday.

This is where I have been sitting to do my Google Meets this week. Dexter usually lays beside me. Yesterday, he did NOT want to share the bench!

Maybe I should have taken a picture of 13 years worth of nastiness in my dishwasher's supposedly self-cleaning filter yesterday!

Instead here is the pattern of Corelle dinner plates I was inspired to buy after reading that thread the other day. My kitchen is red and white.

And maybe now they will get extra clean in my dishwasher!

EMS HEROES pic 1
Old 05-29-2020, 06:52 AM

I was walking by Fort Totten yesterday morning at 8am and saw this. The EMS workers that came from all over the country to help us NY'ers were going home. This was part of their sendoff. It was touching and emotional. About 75 or more ambulances left the Fort. We were videotaping them and waving good by and they were video taping us in their ambulances as they left. I wish I knew how to upload a video.. I have the whole thing on it.

He has been bringing about this many every night for a week. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them and I will eat them daily, twice a day if necessary! If this year's harvest rivals the past two years, he will be bringing them through mid-July!

I just renewed my teaching license for what is likely the last time. We now renew every 10 years. In 10 years I'll be at year 35. I think not.

Bookgeek: I also just renewed my teaching credential for the last time. Yahoo!

My photo today shows my walking growth as I recover from revision knee surgery. The stop sign was my first goal. You can almost see how far away it is now in the top right photo. The bottom photos show my second, third and current goalposts. I am almost walking a mile! Slow and steady!

Today I am posting two photos. This guy decided he wanted to cross the levy road into the neighborhood. I helped him back to the water side. I hope he found his way back to safety.

I love the wildlife I encounter on this road.

Wow...todayís pics are uplifting and fun. All brought a smile to my face.

We had a heat wave over last weekend. GS came to run through sprinklers and I found his old wading pool. When they left, I put it in the yard. So, this is the Current view from my bedroom window.

Amiga, I must confess I am in love with that dog. I am not a dog person but that one melts my heart. That photo could be from a magazine!

Anna, that dress is so adorable!

Thanks for posting all your pictures, everyone.

Drove through the neighborhood earlier and saw a doe and her TRIPLETS! Unfortunately before I could pull out my phone the doe and one fawn walked out of camera view. I was able to take a pic of 2 of the fawns though.

This is my dear niece, Annabelle [Patrick is baby brother] and its her 6h Birthday. She had a fun drive-by birthday "party", it even included 2 fire trucks. Her Uncle Matt is a volunteer fire fighter. I wish I could post the video, but I have no idea how, so this is her memories from the past year.
