Fan suggestions
Old 06-24-2020, 06:13 AM

We just bought a condo. We need a new fan for our 12x13 bedroom. We need something that makes enough noise we donít hear the people below, above, and next to us. We also like feeling the air blow on us while we are sleeping.

I donít want a fan that goes in the window, nor do I think I want a box fan. We currently have a fan on a stand but it isnít very loud.

Any suggestions? Thank you for your help!

just purchase a white noise maker to go with the fan you already have?

Our current fan is on its last leg. We think it is at least 15-16 years old.

I will look into the vornado. Iím not sure if I need one that oscillates. I also noticed some come with a remote which Iím not sure is necessary.

We have two of the Quiet Set tower fans, but I think the name is a bot of a misnomer. They definitely block out noise and the remote was a bonus I didnít even know how much I would like until we had it!

I bought a Hunter table top fan a number of years ago. It will oscillate if you want it to, or just blow in one position. It does make a little bit of noise, so it is not whisper quiet. I am highly satisfied and I use it every night sometimes even in the winter when it gets hot. It has held up.

I like Lasko Tower Fans. They have a remote which can control power, speed, oscilation, and timer functions. I recommend to ALSO get a sound machine. I have THIS one and have it set on a loud SHHHHHHH, which is louder than the fan on high speed.

I have a large stand fan from Loweís. It moves a lot of air, which is good for our large room. I also use a white noise machine with it.

We enjoy our Hunter ceiling fans. We have 2 in our living room and 1 in every bedroom.
