Keurig Question.

I just bought a new Keurig. It is the very basic model but not the mini. When I go to use it, it starts brewing but then will shut off almost right away. This keeps happening. I already returned it and got another one and it is doing the same thing. Does anyone know what is going on or they know of a good model to get. My last Keurig lasted more than twelve years and was made much better.

Does it actually start dripping in the cup or just make the brewing sound?

I just went through that with the k-duo. I worked a couple times then would sound like it was going to brew, but then nothing would happen.

I called keurig and they walked me through taking it apart and putting it back together. We got it working. However, the next day, same problem. I called keurig back. They sent me a new coffee maker. It is working fine. Luckily I still had my single serve one until the new one came. The customer service was great.

Are you using the correct K-cups? When I accidentally tried putting old ones in mine, it wouldn’t work. They look the same to me, but they are just different enough that the machine doesn’t work.

I just want to say ditto to what techrx said - some brands that say 'k-cups' do exactly what you said in my machine.

Call customer service

My Keurig stopped working so I called customer service. They were great. Sent new part free of charge, but that’s didn’t fix problem. Called again they were helpful but at one point in the conversation the service rep very gently said, “ You know your Keurig is 15 years old...” She was right. I needed a new one!

They do have excellent customer service. I called a couple of times trying to get a problem fixed. They sent me a new one. And it was an upgrade of what I had.

It does start dripping for a second then powers off. It is doing the same thing when I use a Keurig pod too. So frustrating.
