Today I went to low tea with my book club. We were the only customers in the tea house, and we sat around a large table and chatted about books, drank tea, and had a fun time. It was my BFF (a high school librarian), one of my friends (an English teacher), and two former students (both grown and bookworms).

It was my first-ever hot tea. It was quite tasty. Iím not a coffee drinker, but I could see myself being a tea drinker.

Oh that sounds like such a fun day. I am a tea drinker and recommend Darjeeling tea.

That sounds like so much fun! And I never heard of low tea either, so now I can be fancy, too!

I'm stuck on the fact that you never had hot tea. Growing up in an Irish family, I've been drinking hot tea forever! My in-laws are from Ireland, and they put tea in baby bottles (I wouldn't let them do that for my boys, but my nieces and nephews had plenty!)

I'm glad you had fun.

That sounds like fun! Did you put on a fancy dress and hat? Our tea house used to have a collection of fancy hats that you could put on while you were there. I didn't know there was low tea and high tea either!
