Do you have any resources or ideas to along with figurative speech? I will be focusing on similes, methaphors, personification and onomotopeia.

"Firework" by Katy Perry and "The Grinch" (perfect this time of year) are loaded with examples of similes and metaphors. Thinking about what she means when she says "You're a firework" really helped metaphors click with some of my students last year.
