I finally have a valid argument for keeping a coffee maker and microwave in my classroom Don't want to be going to the staff lounge and touching that microwave too frequently

Anyone have a recommendation for a good, cheap coffee maker? I have a Keurig at home but honestly I'm not a huge fan of the taste of coffee that comes out and I've tried tons of different pods.

Cheap -- like $20. It works well enough.

You can usually find small regular coffee makers at Walgreens or CVS. I agree about the Keurig - it doesn't taste the same!

I use an electric teapot and coffee bags (they look like teabags) in my room. Small, easy to hide!

We always buy the cheapest Mr. Coffee at Wal Mart.....usually under $20. Works just fine for us!

We aren't allowed either, but if we go back in I am taking one of my extras in and putting it on my counter. Maybe I will cover it with a crate. . No one wants me there without the option.

I don't need the microwave. Have you ever seen those little warmer crockpots? They work well! I got one last year and put it on my desk. I bring my lunch in its little warming pan, set it in and plug it in. Whenever I want to eat lunch, it is ready. I take the pan home, wash, and refill for the next day.
