I was wondering if there are any math coaches that would like to share ideas.

I am ready to leap into math (ELA has been my focus up to this point). I would love to be in touch.

My school district starts in two weeks. I was thinking we could post our successes and areas we want to further develop about once a month. Perhaps doing it this way, others will join the conversation.

I start in a couple weeks also. I am going to look into co-curricular projects, starting with third grade.

Math Coaches or Elementary Math Teachers

I hope everyone is having a great start to the school year. I am enjoying working with my colleagues in a variety of ways to promote mathematics in the classroom. Sometimes I do problem solving lessons, incorporate strategies to enhance the Go Math Program we are using, or include a variety of manipulatives to make learning more concrete.

Here are some websites that might be useful. Looking forward to sharing ideas each month!
