Do you know this cute picture book? Itís how my life went today.
I switched out my single guest room bed for a daybed with trundle.
Thatís good.
No, thatís bad. The original bedspread that I love is too thick/big.
Thatís bad.
No, I figured I could open it and pull out the comforter inside.
Thatís good.
No thatís BAD.
Turns out, it wasnít a comforter it was batting.
Thatís bad.
No, thatís good. I figured I could just pull it all out.
Thatís good.
Nope. The batting was stitched down. You know...so it wouldnít shift.
Good? Bad?
I discover I could just cut all the area where it was stitched. Easy peasy.
Thatís good.
Nope.
Turns out, ya know because itís sort of a QUILT!!! When I cut the batting, I cut through the top of the comforter. Like 4 holes.
Thatís bad.
No.
With a lot of patience and perseverance and double stick iron tape, I pulled out all the batting and repaired the holes.
Thatís good. Yes. Yes it is.

I love that book (I think there are 2 children's books with that title), and I love your story too.

YES! Uh-oh! What? Oh! Now...Yikes! Fixed! Yay!
All of the above was me following your story, but not necessarily in that order. I'm sure it was frustrating for you, but I enjoyed the smiles your story brought to my face. THAT'S GOOD!
Great way to tell your story!
Congratulations on not giving up!

Wow, I'm with Amiga. I'm not sure I would have had the patience to go through all that. Shows that you really love that bedspread. Awesome story and great to hear that you got it done like you want!
