We had an earthquake and a wildfire.

No damage - everyone is safe. But my first thoughts were this is it. The world is now ending.

I have been so focused on covid and tp and cleaning supplies that I have no idea where I put my go bag. And where could I possibly evacuate to that is social distancing?

This really is too much.

I understand completely. We are in Florida keeping our eye on the hurricane coming to the east coast. I can't imagine where we would evacuate to!

I am sorry. 2020 has been a very challenging year. I am glad you have no damage. I hope you can destress now and get some sleep tonight to restore yourself.

yah, we had an earthquake the first week out of school (not yet Stay-at-Home) and we sooooo rarely have them here, and that was my first thought! End of Days! it was such a big one that we've continued to have aftershocks ever since.

Sonoma, I am glad all is ok.

End of days!
When COVID-19 started my brother and I joked it was like the first chapter in a Stephen King novel. We now have an email chain going in which we list current happenings that could be Stephen King stories. We have listed:

radioactive fires in Siberia
locust swarms in Africa
murder hornets in the western US
dog killing giant toads
swarm of flying ants 50 miles wide over U.K.
Arctic zombie fires
...What next?

How scary! I am so glad everyone is OK!

When another crisis happens during a pandemic like this I think its normal to feel that way! We are on the NE coast of FL and waiting for a hurricane whose name I can never remember how to pronounce. A friend called yesterday and wanted to know if locusts were next???
