My mom just dropped off stuffed shells for me, topped with my grandmaís recipe for homemade tomato sauce (yummy!). I loved stuffed shells. I grew up eating them. What are some of your favorite comfort foods?

For me itís:

Stuffed Shells
Eggplant Parm
Egg cream

What I want when I'm feeling in need of comfort - tuna casserole, chocolate chip cookies, ice cream

If I feel sick, but still hungry, I want original Campbells chicken noodle soup and crackers or a fried egg on toast.

I LOVE chicken pot pie! I hardly ever get to eat it because DH won't eat veggies (and won't pick them out - yes, he's a 50 year old man).
I also love:

Spaghetti and meatballs (my favorite is the long fusilli from the Italian market)
Macaroni and cheese
Matzoh ball soup
Noodle kugel

I grew up with an Italian grandmother AND a Jewish grandmother so I had the comfort food on both sides!
