So much fun shopping for 2-year-old DGS. Today his new shoes arrived and are a hit with him and with his parents (I asked ahead for permission because the trapezoids are lighted.) So cute.

Very cute shoes! Do the lights turn off? Most shoes that light up now have an on/off button. I just got my DS these shoes. He saw them and HAD to have them to be just like dad. Thankfully the siren lights do turn off

Here’s another joy of being a grandparent: I have no clue and it’s not my problem.

I LOVE the Skechers you got your DS! Love. Especially for Daddy’s son. I will always be attached to Skechers because their headquarters are in my old hometown. (I just bought myself 2 pairs.)

Oh boy, how different from my Keds I wore growing up. I love both these shoes and wish my grandnephew was old enough to wear them.

I have a two year old grandson and he would live those shoes! Please tell me the brand and where you bought them. Thank you so very much!

They are from Stride Rite! Amiga posted the picture but I saw them on the Stride Rite website.

Love them!! Now he will go stomping around the house to make them light up.

And I always said I wanted light up shoes....they were a fad about two years ago and I chickened out on buying them.

Very cute! It's always fun buying clothes and shoes for little ones. Not so much when they are teens!

So cute. I bought pink and rainbow printed high tops for dgd that sparkled with lights here and there. She loved them so much but outgrew them pretty quickly. It was worth every cent Have fun shopping. I'm busy looking at Little Miss Marmalade dresses for DGD birthday ideas . She loves dresses

I love light up shoes. I can, and do, still wear them. It's great being the grandmother so you can spoil them.

I love light up shoes but have to be careful around kids wearing them (seizure trigger for me).

Sweet shoes! We have a Skechers outlet in our area. I enjoy going there. It's usually buy one and get one half off.

Well, darn. They did have another pair of even wilder light-ups—did you see those?

ME TOO! But, I was in a thrift store recently and noticed a black pair of shoes in my size. They were only $3 so I got them on a whim. Got home and noticed a little leather flap in the instep. It was a charging port. Plugged one in and it lit up!!!!

So now I have rechargeable light up shoes in an adult size. I can't wait to find an excuse to wear them to school...
