Eewwww. I'd be rolling that up and sticking it in a closet until the vacation is over.

I'd find an out of the way place to relocate that piece of "decor."

Yeah, I'd probably move that out of sight. I live in the Wisconsin north woods so I've had to get used to the sight of dead animals everywhere, but I don't enjoy it. In my old school, the lunch spot of choice on inservice days was a local tavern with taxidermied animals everywhere. As a strategy for not overeating at lunch, it was a success. That school actually had a taxidermied tiger on display in their school. It had been donated by local law enforcement after they seized it from someone who had poached it illegally. (The school's mascot was a tiger.) I was pretty disgusted.

My SIL rented a house for the holidays that was a dead zoo. All sorts of animal trophies everywhere. Big game (Grizzly bear), birds, fish...

The animals were all beautifully taxidermied, but ugh... it was everywhere. The room we had must have been the young male adult man cave because it had a huge poster of a model sprawled across the top of a Trans Am. There were no dead zoo friends in that room.

The house was listed as $750K, and people who hunt like that have money. The Trans Am poster with an old school water bed....#winning.
