I just hid one of my cousins because she was talking about how stupid the school system is.

She doesn’t want (or have ability) to homeschool, doesn’t have computers or internet for her three kids to do online school, and doesn’t want them going in person. Well, I don’t know what else she thinks there is.

Mine are at it again on FB... I have successfully avoided most of FB for a few weeks. I am tempted to check in, but know it will only upset me. Not going there.

I had to snooze my cousin on FB because if I didn’t I was going to respond and that would have been bad for everyone.

You know what they say: you can choose your friends, you can’t choose your family.

I refuse to respond to my MIL's baiting texts-I just respond with hope you're having a good week. I just can't anymore. She lives in her world, Ill live in mine.

I have multiple family members on “unfollow” on Facebook. If I want to see anything they post I have to go directly to their page.

Ima- I would be tempted to tell her that she’s more than welcome to homeschool on her own... give her some links to homeschool co-ops

I have an aunt who often posts things about “welfare.” And people “mooching off the government.” I have to always refrain from commenting on the fact that she used WIC in the past as well as used Medicaid for her children/herself for years

I have a few extended family members on Hide and I also block them from seeing my (very infrequent) posts. I avoid the "Must be nice...." commenters. I'm not sure if I'm alone on this one but I've found that even clicking on the Like, Care, or Love buttons can create a ridiculous argument.

I was doing a good job of avoiding the drama lately, but then my dad stopped by to visit and wanted to talk about something my husband posted on Facebook. I don't know if I'm more annoyed with my husband for what he posted (he has political and anti-science tendancies that oppose my views) or if I'm upset that my dad had to make sure I knew about it! Ugh!

BioBirdie, mine was more like yours. My aunts gone crazy and said something to my dad, who made sure I knew I knew what she said. Im not sure who annoyed me more, my aunt for being crazy or my dad for believing it.
