I hadn't seen this thread started today so I thought I would get it going.

I took 2 of the quizzes for my assigned PD without watching the video or the nearpod presentations. I still made passing scores on both.

Iím not giving the landscaping job to the company that mows my lawn. The deal was that they pick up the the grass around the pool using a push mower. Instead they are using a weedwacker and blowing it. Too much ends up in the pool creating more work for me. Not my fault their push mower has been broken for a month. You may be nice guys, and Iíve tried to be patient, but if you canít follow directions after a month and repeated reminders, I donít think you deserve the contract. They seemed to believe it was a done deal.

Zephie, I've done this with 4 PD modules so far. What does my district expect when we have 10 to get done?

I ate brownies for breakfast today. Carpe the brownie!

I wonder if my walks are getting shorter and shorter because my annoying mask makes me even lazier.

The governor of my state announced on Monday that he was making a major education announcement today (Wednesday). Rumors and speculation have run wild for 2 days. His press conference is supposed to start in 35 minutes and my anxiety is through the roof.

Google 1 training was so awesome and I learned a ton.
Google 2 training is so fast and so much info that I feel dumb. I'm not learning much. I definitely wouldn't pass the test.

One of the 4 second grade teachers will have to teach virtually this year and none of us volunteered. Our P has said she will let us know today. I hope it's not me.

Heading home after 2 weeks at DD's. Love her to pieces, but her house is too tiny for 3 adults and 3 dogs. We did well because the weather mostly cooperated, but I'm ready to be home.

Aikman is going to doggie daycare Tuesday. I feel like heís going to get kicked out in the first hour.

The parent comments on FB. I really need to stop reading them.

I don't want to paint the fence. I don't care how much fun you say it is. I've read Tom Sawyer, too.

We don't even start back to work until Monday. I'm already annoyed with a couple of know-it-all co-workers

Zephie, you're an inspiration! And I remember Ima saying she had pd running while she was in another room awhile back. People like you give me hope for my upcoming pd!

Apparently I have a bad attitude about my job right now

This year is going to be extremely challenging in so many different ways. I'm not going to make myself crazy and wear myself out trying to figure out so many new things! I will do what I can, and that will have to be enough.......

And I don't want to hear the word data this year!!

is there a way you can turn-off the comment sections of FB? When I went to my town's school district FB page I could see they had 128 comments posted but I could not read any of them. I thought I was doing something wrong and asked my niece, she said she couldn't either. So, maybe there is a way to block them.

I know I would be very upset with comments. I love that you have a bathroom in your room.

My good friend, our school librarian, went in to school today to take care of a few things. Both the secretary and the custodian came in to talk to her about us reopening. Neither is happy. According to the secretary, the phone is ringing off the hook. Decisions for virtual or in person were due on Monday. And the principal is taking her second week of vacation. I just can't understand.
