...you get sucked into harvest. Iíve been helping unload corn wagons into an auger that fills semis. Luckily itís been sunny and in the seventies in N. IL. this week. I have work next week, but harvest should be completed tomorrow.

My coworker had to buy her husband a new phone last week. He lost his in the auger. Found it, mangled, earlier this week. They still havenít found the Otterbox.

Feeding calf

Spending time making sure abandoned calf gets fed daily. I hate putting in hay but the round bailer went out again. Hubby working from home but feeding April is fun. Likes her head scratched.

That’s where all our RIF’d lunch staff, bus drivers, and parapros went!
When the board decided to go hybrid after letting all these very necessary people go, most declined, because they had committed to the harvest.

Good for you! That’s such a positive thing to do - although super exhausting! We all get sneezey from corn and ESPECIALLY soy bean dust, but mad respect for people who deal with it all day long! Keep up the great work!
