I guess that was not a good ornament to have on a low branch...

Stella-"Because it was shiny and because I was doing what cats do! You all knew me before you hung it there"

Cats never take the blame!

The poor ornament never stood a chance.

Our cat left the ornaments alone this year, but she attacked the bows on the gifts. I even taped down the bows and she managed to pull them off so she could bat them around on the floor. I threw some bows on the floor for her to play with after that.

I walked out of the bathroom and caught her in the act. The look on her face and the way she jumped in the air when she saw me tells me she knew exactly what she was doing and that I would not be pleased with her.

So she either has a conscience or she just doesnít want to be in trouble...itís progress. Last year she truly believed the tree and all its ornaments existed for her amusement.

Naughty girl, Stella!

We put "decoy" ornaments on the bottom of the tree....Cheapo plastic ones from Target/Dollar Tree. Will that work, or does she climb the tree? My boys are too fat to climb ours.
