I received a text message that said it was fed ex. It stated that my package was ready for delivery. It had a tracking number and a link to click on to schedule delivery.

Lucky for me I knew I didnít order anything. Otherwise I probably would have clicked it.

I’ve gotten this one, too. I also, get them from PayPal and Apple. Generally, if I have doubts, I don’t open it. Or click on senders name and you can tell if it’s bogus.

My husband got one, too. And he never orders anything! I do order lots, but have never gotten a text like that from fedex.

Itís so irritating to always have to be so careful about those things. And even the most tech savvy and cautious can get fooled. I heard a podcast one time where they had a computer and scam expert try to get the workers in one office click on a scam link. These were young, intelligent people who worked in the tech industry. He was able to trick all of them into clicking that bogus link.

I have recently gotten one from fedex. I have also gotten several from Amazon. It is truly annoying.

Thanks for sharing. So many traps to fall into. Not long ago I received a phone call about my Amazon prime subscription. At first I thought it was legit, then I suddenly decided it had to be a scam and hung up. Thankfully I didn't wait to talk to a live person or give information.

I get scam emails from "Amazon" all the time. I shop at Amazon constantly and would be likely to get caught out by one if I wasn't paying close attention, so I just make it a rule to never click Amazon ever. Anything Amazon sends me can be found on their website, so I go there first.

I did get caught by an instagram "you need to reset your password" one. I felt pretty foolish, but some are so legitimate-looking!

So frustrating!

I got one from Amazon that looked so real, but when you look at their email address, it's obvious they're not who they say they are.

Now I've started doing that for all of them - I just click on the little arrow by their name and it shows their email address.

I'm expecting packages, so I did look twice at it, deleted it, and went to my Amazon account to see if there was a shipping problem. Irritating!

I got the text yesterday and knew what to do. I blocked the number, although Iím sure they use different ones. Quite awhile back, I got a series of texts from a local furniture store. It was also a scam. Itís hard to keep up with all the scams. So Sonoma, thanks for letting us know!

Got the same thing this morning! Clicked it on but like another poster said, had not ordered anything from Amazon so just deleted it.

Everybody be careful!
