What do YOU want for Christmas?

Time for my annual thread . My mom always asks me for a list and I always struggle with coming up with things I want. Sometimes I get ideas from reading others' lists.

I'm enjoying the paint by sticker thing so much that I'm definitely going to ask for another book of that-I found another brand on Amazon that also has a cat themed book. But that's a pretty small thing.

Earrings. Great gift for me because they donít take up much space and are easy to fit.

Centerpiece. Fun, easy to change out.

Anything from Lululemon, Loft, and Crate & Barrel.

I have been eyeing a drill press. I am thinking of starting a Etsy store and it would make things easier. I would also like a couple pairs of pants.

Bracelet - all colors & styles, all price points. (I can never have too many!)

Home Depot/Loweís/local garden center - that way my spring flowers can be free for me!

New slippers & robe.

Fingerless gloves for really cold days in my classroom.

Homemade jam/jellies, salad dressing, herb infused oils, dips for veggies/chips.

I already got myself a cell phone for Christmas since mine was 4-5 yrs old.

The only other thing is money because I'm saving up for a big trip I'm going on in several mos.

That's all I need this year.

My teen/adult kids just made me make a list! What I came up with: Inexpensive earrings because I am always losing them. Essential oils and one more diffuser. Candles that smell good. Bath bombs and salts. Gift cards for massage and nails. I would also love a deep cleaning housekeeping service and a car detail!

I want a floor lamp with a magnifier attached to it so I can read, puzzle, or work on crafts in the evening.

I tell my kids bath salts/fizzies. It is affordable and I use them.

New puzzles.

A Rumba. We just put hardwood flooring in the entire house and it would be a luxury to keep them clean.

Christmas list
Old 11-11-2019, 08:07 AM

Iím going to make the same list I made for my birthday: experiences.
Take me some where to do something fun. A day trip to a fun town, tickets to a local theater or dance company, A museum Iíve never been to, cooking class, etc.

It doesnít have to be expensive, I just want to spend a full day with each family member - just the two of us. (Ok...and maybe my grandson).

In reality, I don't need or deserve anything because my parents have significantly helped me with the divorce, moving to a rental home, and in 2 weeks- moving to my new home which they will help me with finances.

So I feel like I can't/won't ask for anything.

But on my list to get myself:
Roomba
Dyson handstick vacuum
laminate flooring
a new planner
new linens for the house

On a whole different level- I want the pain and grief of divorce to go away.

I ask DH to get me an "experience" each year.....concert, stand up comedy, day trip to do something....and it's fun to see what he comes up with.

Also in my wishes:
-new fuzzy socks I wear as slippers
-new Tervis tumblers bc mine are worn out
-fancy hot cocoa
-Bailey's to go with the cocoa
-many many many books

I love bookgeek59's idea of the gift of an experience! It means a little planning and researching which my family enjoys and matching my interests-perfect idea!
