Mom Jeans help needed

Maybe grandma jeans??

My two year old just right jeans are wearing out from being worn a lot. These work in the yard, go camping, shopping, to lunch, etc.

I like/want/need at the waist, loose through leg and thigh, long, not very expensive jeans. The ones I've tried on in various stores seem to have girdles at the knees. I'm a size 14, not huge, but definitely not svelte. I've tried the web but may not be using the proper search terms.

Anyone have any recommendations? Please.

Thanks.

I like Old Navy Rock Star jeans. Have you tried that brand?

You might try Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans.

Costco has them for 14.99, but other stores like Kohlís, usually have sales on them.

Gloria Vanderbilts from Costco, but the new ones seem much more tight through the legs--fashions changed, I guess.

Thanks, I'll give them another try. I've been kicking myself for not buying a dozen earlier.

I love Gap jeans. Not expensive and sooooooo many different types/colors. I’ll bet if you go in a Gap store and tell them what you wrote here, they’ll show you a perfect pair. If you want to look online, start with their straight-leg jeans—I love them. You also might like more relaxed girlfriend jeans. And big sale right now. https://www.gap.com/browse/category....clink=15682852

I adore jeans from J. Jill. They are straight cut jeans that are super flattering.

I love the jeans with side elastic from LL Bean. They come in medium, medium-tall, and tall length. I always wear my top out so no one can tell they have side elastic. Just like 1956BD, I like jeans to sit comfortably at my waist.

Lee also has side elastic jeans. They were my go-to before I discovered the ones from LL Bean.

I love the Jones New York jeans at Costco. They are stretchy and comfy. I bought both blue and black. The fit is pretty true to size and even a (bit forgiving) I started out with size 16, then lost 20lbs and moved to a 14. They are around $15.

My new favorite jeans are from Kohl's. They are Apt. 9 Tummy Control jeans. They come in shorts and different styles of jeans. There is a straight leg version which might be what you want. The waistband has elastic on the inside, but looks like regular jeans on the outside. The stretch denim doesn't get all baggy after wearing for a couple of hours. I have 2 Bermuda shorts, skinny jeans, and capris, and they are all so comfy. And cheap, too. Right now 30% off with code FAMILY30 and free shipping with JUNEMVCFREE (but you do have to use Kohl's charge, I believe).

I like J Jill Weekender jeans, too. They are stretchy but not too much. They are shaped well. I roll mine at the bottom, but they don't have to be rolled. And they come in a couple of washes. (Dark, light, etc)

You've given me a great list of possibilities for jeans. I'll be able to search on line and in-store for some new jeans before these get too thin in the wrong places. I'm not in the age range where ripped jeans are aimed.

I'll be checking J Jill (a new brand for me); Gap, Talbot, and LLBean (haven't checked those in quite a while); Kohls and Costco for Jones and Gloria Vanderbilt are great suggestions. I mentioned that I'd gotten some Amanda style style recently and felt like my legs were being squeezed, but I'll give them another try (perhaps another size??).

You've made me happy and maybe even more stylish.
