Anyone watching this one? I find it odd. I tuned in out of curiosity (the first two episodes are on Hulu). It was sort of confusing at first. I watched 90210 in its first iteration (they were supposed to be around my age, I think) for a few seasons, but not the whole run. I lost interest.

Anyone watching this one? What do you think?

I am not. I didnít watch it the first time and it reeks of desperation (although in all fairness I think all these remakes/reboots reek of desperation).

After the first episode, I said I would give it one more episode. At the end of the second episode, I said, maybe one more. I am intrigued by the whole doll, stalker thing. I am, however, very disappointed in how they handled Luke Perry's death.

jml- granted, I don't watch things like this very closely (my son is always asking why I watch the same show 3 or 4 times ), but how did they explain it? I didn't catch anything about Luke on the parts I saw.

Tori Spelling still annoys the heck out of me!

Didn't watch yet, but will since I DVR'd them.

I was expecting and hoping for a continuation as if it's really 20 yrs later (which it really is)...a show of them in their characters and what they're doing now. Doesn't sound like that's what it is. I'll still watch all 6 episodes though that they're doing so far.

On another thread I belong to, posters are mostly disappointed.

I am watching. I loved the original show and the actors are all around my age.

I also would have liked to see a continuation of their characters, but I am enjoying the show the way it is. Sort of a half truth alternate reality sort of thing.

I think the reason they did that is that was the only way some of the male actors would agree to do the show, mainly Jason Priestley and Brian Austin Green. Luke Perry was said to not want to do a regular show either before his death.

My husband suggested that people don’t want to see a bunch of 50 years old’s lives, but based on comments from fans, maybe they do.

I knew that about Luke Perry (and I still don't know what they did to explain his absence in the show), but I didn't know that about Jason Priestly and Brian Austin Green. Interesting!
