Teacher Language Cheat Sheet

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I made this cheat sheet for teacher language. Can you tell me your opinions on it? I'm thinking of cutting it apart and putting it on my clipboards and wall spaces and on my small group table to have it for easy reference to change the way I speak to my kiddos. What do you think?

This list is wonderful. I especially like the behavioural and redirecting language ones... supportive and educating at the same time!

I agree you put together a wonderful resource. I will use it to remind of all those things I need to be doing and saying to my students.

Love this idea! I'm wondering, what inspired you to create such a great tool?

Thanks for sharing it! I will definitely keep it handy... especially for when my patience starts 'getting impatient'.

This will be so much easier to walk around with and have in front of you when teaching. What a great idea.

Everyone!!!

Keep your eyes glued to The Power of Our Words. It will help you so much.

Also, may I suggest Yardsticks? I'll be reading mine tonight.

I just re-read my age group characterstics as a reminder of their developmental/social/cognitive levels.
