Clip to ScrapBook #1

So do you do it like the way the book is??
Draw the previous classroom and use a symbol to show places that evoked something that was enjoyable, hard, and what was the last one? I've only done the 3rd-4th grade H and D and I'm not quite sure how to facilitate this. Please help!

For 5th graders, I have used that to get the discussion going- just modeling a classroom map for all to see- and it 's helpful for some. Others find a brainstorming of subjects and topics to be covered to be helpful. Giving examples helps to get them going. Changing the wording to "goals" is more clear to older kids.
I might extend it for some, and have them add some ideas about how they intend to meet these goals.
