Hi everyone! Currently i hold a p-3 cert and a cert as a teacher of students with disabilities. I was placed in 4th grade this year. Am i able to teach 4th grade with these certificates? Thanks!!!

Are you teaching 4th grade gen ed or sped? What grade levels does your sped cert cover? In my state, sped certs are K-12 and a gen ed cert is not required if you are teaching sped. If you really don't have anyone local to ask, you could try calling your department of ed and asking them.

The classroom is MD. So I guess that is considered special ed?
