Retirement is giving me time to enjoy my gardens. (Moved in October last year, so I'm finding out what appears each season.) Bringing in flowers cut from the garden is new for me!

Fresh cut flowers are such a joy to bring inside. They are especially delightful when they are from your own garden. I love the monochromatic arrangements.

I love flowers! Those are such pretty colors. One of my retirement goals is to make my gardens nice again. I just done have time for them during the school year.

One of my favorite things! I often have cut flowers . I want to bring the beauty indoors anytime I can. Is that sedum in your vase? I just learned last year that it could be used as cut flowers.

The flowers are beautiful! I do think the one is sedum. I had never thought of cutting it for an arrangement......although I can not have cut flowers in the house anymore because Zipper zeros in on them immediately

Enjoy your gardens!

Thanks everyone. Yes, it is sedum. So glad to have the time now, to work in the gardens and sit back to appreciate the results.

Your flowers are lovely! Having more time to do the things we really enjoy is the best benefit of retirement. This year I’m having so much fun creating the backyard I’ve always wanted.
