Has anyone got their flu shot yet?

I'm supposed to get mine in a few weeks. They give them at school. However, I'm going on a trip the next day. I'm wondering if there are any interactions with the covid vaccine (which I got in Feb/March) that might make me feel bad the next day, much like I did with the 2nd vaccine. Any experiences?

Tuesday at a regular appointment. I told the Nurse I felt it was too early--if I do get sick, it is usually in late January or February and the shot's efficiency may wear off before then.

Then I mentioned that I had also heard that Moderna was trying to do a flu/Covid combo booster and I wouldn't be eligible for that until October... Her answer- "Oh, really... I hadn't heard that. I don't really keep up with all that Covid news..."

What?!!? Let's just say that didn't inspire confidence...

Yes! We are expecting two grand babies in October and both Moms want visitors to have already had flu shots. We got ours at Costco on last Tuesday. No waiting and easy peasy.

I did. My GP gave it to me a week and a half ago during my visit.

DH got his 10 days ago at CVS. He only had a bit of a sore arm. Unlike him to complain. I plan to get mine in early October.

I plan to get mine at my annual check up next week. I'll ask first, but pretty sure I will. It doesn't seem too soon to me.

My DH and I plan on getting ours in October. Since we got the Moderna vaccine, we are not yet able to get the booster. So we figured we'd get the flu shot first.

I got mine about 10 days ago and had very little reaction to it. Usually I have a very sore arm and feel yucky for a day or so. This time a slight headache and tiny bit of soreness.

I took my flu shot at our local grocery store a couple of weeks ago. I have been fully vaccinated with Moderna since March. I have no plans to get the booster any time soon. Moderna’s is not out yet, and an antibody test I had in August showed good numbers, so my doctor wants me to wait to be re-tested in December. I had no adverse reaction to the flu shot, not even much arm soreness.

I got mine earlier this week. I didn't have any reaction, not even a sore arm. I had the Pfizer shots in January and February.

According to the AMA
Quote:
COVID-19 vaccines may be administered without regard to timing of other vaccines. This means COVID-19 vaccines can be co-administered with the influenza vaccine during the same visit.

DH had his second pneumonia shot the other day. He was told he could have his flu shot at the same time.

I had my second Covid vaccine in February. I got my flu vaccine a two weeks ago. No issues. In fact, my arm was less sore than usual.
