Came home from the supermarket and decided to organize the pantry instead of tossing in items willy nilly as I usually do. Discovered that I have cornered the market on can beef gravy. If there is ever a shortage, I can make a killing.

I went through a period of having enough mayonnaise for the apocalypse.

A can of black beans is the item I always grab at the grocery store without realizing I have more than enough.

Conversely, I'm always sure I have spaghetti sauce and then I don't.

For us it's salsa. And pasta. We could feed the neighborhood!

Like sevenplus, we also usually have extra cans of black beans. Tomato sauce and paste are also plentiful. We also have every type of vinegar known to man...

Whenever I'm at Trader Joe's, I grab a can of organic tomatoes, diced, no salt added. I must have about 20 cans in my pantry. It is a ridiculous habit, especially since I live in an area where we grow tomatoes and I cook mostly from scratch.

When we sold my momís house and were cleaning out her cupboards we found enough cans of tuna to feed the entire Midwest! The food pantry ended up with quite a stockpile that day.

We have a ton of canned sliced black olives. I am the only one in my house that eats them. Iíd say there is a lifetime supply.
