I hauled myself out of bed this morning at 5 and made it to my hour-long strength-training class at 5:30 a.m. The instructor is a total beast. I definitely would NOT be training as hard if I was doing this on my own. I would not say I am ENJOYING this class, but I KNOW it is doing my body good and I'm working muscles that haven't been worked in a long time.

The only downside is (beside it being SOOOO early!) is that I CANNOT go to sleep the night before this class. I don't know if I'm so keyed up about the torture I know I will be experiencing or what, but last night I didn't go to sleep until after midnight and then was up at 5 a.m. I don't function well on five hours of sleep!

Nothing for me today!

Last night's 20 straight minutes of squats and lunges holding 20 lb weights is killing me today! My butt and thighs are screaming. But I love it

Today was day 2 of my 5 of weeks...it went well. We worked on legs...walking lunges, sumo squats, leg extensions, calf raises, leg curls etc...then I did 40 minutes of slow/fast intervals on the treadmill...

Today I am tired...

I went to my fitness class and did an hour of cardio/weights/etc...The class is called RIPPED and I should be ripped after that class!

I got up at 4:30 and did a 40 minute run. For some reason it was a much harder run than normal. Had a hard time keeping up the pace and even finishing it.....but I did it!
