Probably Staying An XL

It's fun mid-life for me!

Big, round belly and 38DDs.

Eating super healthy and exercising; feeling great!

On thyroid meds

Tried on Large jackets in my closet...very nice jackets, but too constricting

I may donate all my Larges to Goodwill, so that someone can get some wear out of them.

Facing reality that I AM an XL.

I'm ok with that.

My weight goes up and down like a yo-yo. It's nice to feel confident. Good for you!

Good for you for knowing yourself and owning it!

Really, Twin2? An XL is not terrible. It's a size not a definition of who she is.

and though my weight has fluctuated in the past 5 years by 40 pounds - it doesn't matter how skinny or not I am, my boobs stay the same. I guess that's a blessing, but I do wish they'd get a tad smaller!

An XL is not a bad thing. Healthy is the new skinny

An XL is terrible? That isn't the kindest comment, Twin2.

I am often guilty of speaking without thorough consideration, but even I can't find one reason this judgment is acceptable. Just not kind.

My guess is that twin meant to type ISN'T not is. Let's give the benefit of the doubt before we attack. It's tough typing and Lord knows I've made mistakes, auto-correct fails, etc... when communicating this way.

Can't believe you said XL is terrible???

This is why I don't post anything about my weight, size... I'm self-conscious enough that I don't need anyone else to make me feel worse.

Nothing wrong with XL in my opinion, but I'd keep the clothes for a while. Box them up, wait a year or so, and THEN give them away.

Like someone else mentioned, I am sure it was a typo. Hopefully she will come back to this thread and verify that.

I hope you feel better about things soon. I wish you more happiness.

XL is fabulous for me! Sizes are crazy different these days. I have three different sizes in my closet right now and they all fit.

Twin2 doesn’t strike me as the type to leave rude comments. I’m sure it was a mistake.

Congratulations on eating healthy and exercising! Keep up the good work!

I didn't think anything about the typo.

After all these years, I'm finally OK in my own skin.

I love the idea of eating healthy, exercising, and loving the body that results no matter what it looks like. Good for you for achieving that!
