Clip to ScrapBook #1

Someone I took a course with once likes to post many statuses on social media about how she has the kids best interest at heart and is tired of the adults trying to overpower them.

her status currently says : "if you dislike bad kids then you don't like kids bad kids see through the nonsense and react to an unjust world with understandable rage. If you only like good kids then you just enjoy exerting your power."

Umm...

So the student I had last week who called her classmate a piece of trash just "sees through the nonsense" and is actually the one who is enlightened while the rest of us are idiots?

Statements like these just keep chipping away at my sanity. How is it not June yet?

Wow. I can sorta see how the intent behind her words may be reasonable but it is poorly stated. Sometimes kids are indeed 'bad' because they have needs that have genuinely not been met. That doesn't mean every action is excusable, though.

To me it reads as though she is frustrated with a colleague and this is how she has chosen to vent. It's certainly immature but I wouldn't let it bother you. Personally, I unfollow people who frequently post rubbish like that

Try to think of it less of attempting to guilt-trip someone as they are really trying to pump themselves up for some reason or another.

Then hide them for a while.

I've noticed that a lot of posts on all kinds of social media end up being people who need attention or "pumping up" as Kaluablast mentions. Lately, I just block, hide, or laugh off their need for the attention.
It's like: "Here we go again with those kind of posts.

Time to unfollow her. She sounds super annoying.
