But I was watching a back episode of "This is Us" where Kate debates goeing to the conference with her mom about her blind son and I'm thinking for an instance, "no, no, you've got to social distance!"

It just happened again. I started a new book on my new kindle and the character is in a store hiding from her ex who I think is going to come find her and again my head is saying...why are you shopping, why is he going to come over?" Any one else experiencing this....

No, but something very similar! I see commercials and I keep thinking, "How did you make that commercial? You're standing right by each other and there are way more than 10 people around!" Then I remember it was made months/years ago.

Yes! Something similar anyway. Watching a tv show where characters are out walking around an outdoor mall and thinking, “Wow so many people out! What are they doing?” And then making the connection/realization like, “oh yeah that’s normal”. It’s weird for sure.

HA! I did post that exact same thing-- last week, maybe? I was wondering who else was applying our current standard of social distancing to the TV shows they were watching. It just feels like a new normal to me, so of course our entertainment should reflect that!

I don't usually watch the TMZ show, but sometimes it comes on and I don't change the channel. Last night, I noticed that they were all zooming in from their home settings (usually they are all in a big room having a conversation together). The weatherman on some channel was also at home. It was interesting!

eta: I just looked up my other post and it's here in case you want to see what people were saying then

I remember when DRGraceKrispy posted it. Yes, I find it really jarring to see everyone so close.

Of course, my dear friend DRGraceKrispy has also ruined many of my favorite cooking shows because now I concentrate less on the food and more on the taster’s perfect lipstick.

Yes! I am thinking the same thing. And I must admit, I’m a little jealous of all the freedom.

Yes! And here in TX we almost ALWAYS hold the doors for each other. Like, men will wait when I am like 20 ft away. Now I'm trying not to get that close to people. It's hard to break those habits!
