me that he is on his way to the ER with breathing issues and a fever. He is 35. I am concerned. Feeling pretty helpless. His mom is in California. He is in Missouri.

We need to remember that the worst stories are the ones that make the news. However the great majority DO recover. Much easier said than done, I know. When he recovers he may even be immunized for life.

They tested him and sent him home

to await results tomorrow. Also gave him allergy meds. He has underlying health issues. They may have given him an inhaler. I don't think he has health insurance, but possibly. I told him to let me know what happens and to give my number to his roommate.

somewhat congested, but way better than the past ten days. I can't believe he waited that long to go to the hospital.

He is still awaiting test results. I'm thinking his anxiety did not help. I know a lot of people are getting very anxious and frightened of what might happen versus what is actually happening. Me, too, to some extent.
