probably about 5 inches. We'll see what it looks like when it dries

Maybe I'll cut some longer bangs, too. This is the time to experiment, right? I can always wear a hat on Zoom meetings

On another note, I can't decide if I'm a 2C or a 3A curl type.

#firstworldproblems

(I used the regular craft scissors I always use- and only use for haircutting- but I did try to sharpen them on the knife sharpener ... I ordered real scissors, but they won't come for quite a while)

I have never gut anything but my bangs. I would never be brave enough to give it a try. Hope it looks great when it dries and you really like your new style.

Brave lady! I wouldn't even attempt someone else's hair let alone my own! My daughter could tell you what happens when I attempt hair cutting.

I think I really need to start using some sort of silky head thing to sleep in. Or maybe not go to bed when my hair is even remotely wet I did go back and cut some longer bangs, but I think I need to do a little more shaping. I think it's actually kind of cute from the front, but it's a little blunt on the bottom. We'll see if I get brave enough to post a picture

It sits right on my shoulders which, for me, is VERY short. More commonly in my adult life, it's been mid-back or around there. I've been told by some fancy haircutting guy that my hair should either be VERY short (like pixie) or shoulder length, but it should not be chin-length. He was very adamant about that
