I was texting with my kittenís foster mom. I sent her a picture of him with his new collar on. Itís about as big as he is .

Me: Too cute for words
Her: cats with heart eyes smilies
Her: That collar!!! Iím dying
Me: It is adorable on him!
Her: It is GOALS!!!
Iím so sharing this!

Does anyone know what this means. I know she means sharing on FB, but what does the line before that mean? Iím not on FB so I thought maybe it had something to do with that. Here is the pic I sent her.

Are you asking about "GOALS"?

It just means it's good, something to aspire to. It's usually used sarcastically, but probably not in this case.

Ok, thanks Zia. I thought it might be an acronym.

Thanks 123rabbit! His name is Ollie.

Your cat is adorable. It almost looked fake at first glance. Too cute!

Could it be an auto-correct? Maybe she meant GOLD?

Possibly? I was trying to figure out what it might be if it was an auto correct. I have never heard it used the way Zia described it.

It's definitely not an autocorrect. It's something you like and/or want for yourself. I see it used on social media all of the time. I haven't really seen it used sarcastically.

Cute kitten!

goals

I see goals used a lot on social media. It's a good thing. When I posted a pic of DH and I doing something romantic/fun together, several posted "relationship goals" meaning that's what they want to do as well or that we achieved a good goal in our relationship.

Your kitten is totally adorable! I agree that it looks almost fake at first!

I guess my friends and I are just sarcastic jerks, lol. We only post GOALS to something stupid.

Thanks everyone. I figured it was a social media thing and since I'm not on social media, I'm clueless . What Haley said makes sense in this situation.

I can attest to the fact that he is not fake as he is running full throttle through the house right now .

Ollie is a cutie pie. I thought goals meant that he finally is wearing a collar.
