Dress code for a Zoom wedding

One of my nephews is getting married tomorrow at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado. It was supposed to be a big gathering, with family and friends from all over and a '20s style (think Great Gatsby) reception.

Now only very immediate family will be there in person and I'll be watching on Zoom from 1000 miles.

I never bought a dress because the plans changed. If I could think of something simple and appropriate to wear, I would. But it's at 10:30 AM! Any ideas?

I like amiga's idea I was going to ask if you had a pretty, slinky nightgown you could wear. It could be your Flapper dress. My cousin's friend wore a vintage chemise to her wedding, my cousin let her bridesmaids choose their own dresses.

Fun! Maybe you could do your hair in the style of the time.

Pearls and feathers in your hair. Something that shows your shoulders. Red or pink “Clara Bow” lips.

Shorts and flip flops for the parts that don’t show.

I especially like the shorts and flip flops. I definitely can find some pearls.

I need to check whether I still have a slinky nightgown. Hadn't thought of that!

How fun! The Garden of Gods is so beautiful-sorry you're not there in person. But for the Zoom part, maybe concentrate on your hair and makeup if you have no outfit? Check out a hairstyle for your hair and do red lipstick.
