I'll be vague and minimize details for obvious reasons.
I'm down. Burnt out. Wiped out. I hate my job. It's not a normal teaching job. I run various events. 1 day a week I have meetings 75% of the day. My events comanager is crazy. I try to communicate with my events manager but she is crazy
I just moved to a new state in August for this. Secondary level.
Idk what to do. Looking for something new, exhausted all over again. I'm sad every morning.

Hi,

Hang in there. Maybe do part-time private sector for a while. Work isn't worth the aggravation. I might do that.

But I know how you feel. Jobs, especially teaching, can be tough and stressful, but no one should feel sad every day.

It is almost summer. Use that time to unwind and then to think about other, perhaps similar, job options.

Good luck, and feel better.

Thank u for your help. I worked in a rougher school before this, and maybe that is my calling,. I got to teach.
Now I sit around in an office one full day a week. every other day I get to teach, but it's a joke bc my real job they need me for is to run events and other things requiring me to leave school sometimes and be in the community.
I had a workplace injury months ago. Bring at the hospital was more relaxing than this job. The other events partner is truly crazy and bullies and disrespects me. My school is too big and overwhelming. I'm losing myself in it.

Trying things to hone in on what we will truly want over time.

Sadness is a killer. Your mind is strong yet delicate. Journal. Life should feel short and precious - if it doesn't #### it and get going. That's what I do. Is it the easy road? Nope.
