Social distancing...

We're watching movies and shows at home these days and we're watching Frozen II right now (thanks for the tip!). I watched a particularly close embrace and said (without really thinking) "they're not practicing social distancing!"

My daughter looked at me and said, "uh, mom, I don't think they have Coronavirus there."

I keep watching these shows and movies with the lens of COVID-19. Anyone else?

YES!!! I was randomly watching YouTube videos of Britain’s Got Talent. I was thinking, “those dance groups are touching each other too much!” Lol

I don’t watch movies through that lens, but I’m living it and appreciate the other 98% of people who are showing appropriate respect for distance.

Not yet, but I think you're a few weeks ahead of most of us! Thanks for letting us know what's to come!

I thought that exact thing today when I went to go vote. There was a crowd outside the polling place & someone even had a guitar! As I walked through what felt like a gauntlet with workers handing me their candidates' flyers, I thought "so much for social distancing"! Geez!

Luckily, since it was early voting, there weren't a lot of people actually voting so I was able to mostly keep MY social distance.

We just watched the end of Frozen II and I said something about how lovely it was that it had an ending where everyone was friends and my 16yo daughter said, "if only the coronavirus could end the same way." Truer words have never been spoken.

Went to the pet store, wipe on hand, and was not too comfortable standing close to the lady hoarding cat and dog food

I don't have much of a chance to think that way. My husband keeps listening to the news and other coverage of Covid-19. I have been online all day. I'm starting to stress and need some different input.
