What about August 1st?

The $600 government stimulus is set to end July 31, but the last day of the two week cycle is August 1st.

Will we still get the $600 for both weeks, or will the last day of the cycle being August 1st somehow reduce our benefit?

I will not be too surprised to see no $600 stimulus for the last week, or maybe both weeks, since I heard on the news that the last stimulus checks already went out.

Did it really end July 18th for me, and July 25 for others?

I received, last week, a payment that included the $600/week, but I'm assuming that's the last one.

I don't think they've made a final decision on what it will be like, now. I think it will be something, but not $600.

The good news is that my understanding is that they gave 30,000 people the vaccine as part of a clinical trial.

I believe this is the case. I received my last payments today for the weeks ended 7/18 and 7/25. I do not believe we will receive the extra benefit for the week ended 8/2. I am grateful it was extended through the summer. Helped me a have a little cushion for fall as i only have 9 weeks of UI left and we're not going back to til the end of the first trimester, which is early November.

This past weekend was the last payout because of the wording in the cares act bill . Repubs want to do 200 bucks a week for two months to get states to transition to a system where you earn 70 percent of your wages, which would be a nightmare for people like us. They have offered no funding for this transition either.

Yeah, to replace the 600 a week. It could change, but thatís what they are pushing for.

I just asked this same question in another forum because my turn to certify each week falls at the end of the week. Therefore it is processed on a Thurs or Fri, but money doesnt hit my account til Monday. I was told that this past week's unemployment claim will still include $600 extra. It technically expired Friday at midnight, therefore if you certified for unemployment BEFORE that, then you should still see one LAST $600 benefit in addition to your regular unemployment payment once it processes. I will find out for sure on Monday, but not holding my breath. But some folks in another forum said they did saw the extra $600 pending in their bank accounts this morning.

I just submitted for the two weeks ending August 1st, so since this was a day after July 31, I suspect I will be paid $724 instead of $1924.

This means that my $600 stimulus really ended on July 18, not July 31.

I hope I am wrong, but since I have heard that the last $600 stimulus was already mailed out, I am afraid I am right.

I should get, as a minimum, the $600 stimulus for the first week, but I am expecting the worst case scenario based on what I have heard.

According to my claim status, I will receive the $600 stimulus for the first week ending July 25, but not for the 2nd week ending August 1st.

If my 2nd claim week had ended just one day sooner on July 31, I might have gotten $600 for both weeks.

I suspect this is the same for all of us in CA.
