I use it all the time. We ordered food at work all the time ( before the pandemic) and I pretty much Venmo’d money to someone every day.

I tried to download the app to my laptop last night to pay my landscaper, but had no luck. My sister-in-law thinks you can only use it on your smart phone. Not sure I would have used it much if I had been able to download.

Had it installed. Used it once. Then I kept getting an error message. Contacted support. No help. Deleted app.

I use PayPal

I like using Facebook Messenger pay. There are no fees whatsoever if you link bank accounts.

I use it with my 2 adult kids. They are still on my insurance and phone plan and they pay me their share monthly this way. Yes, you can't do payments on a computer anymore, only through an app.

I get a kick out of some of the things DS and his friends post on it. DD is smarter and put her settings to private

Venmo

My dd1 helped me set it up, and I use it frequently. Use it for paying our lawn guy, the neighbor girl for watering our lawn during the summer (as weíre at our cabin), dd1 and 2 for payments back and forth for various things.

It is particularly helpful with DD2. She lives with us, and we are working on developing independent living skills. Budgeting and paying bills is HUGE! Now she can pay her bills to us without having to go to the bank and take out the cash. (And using Venmo is ďcool.Ē )

I've used it with family.

My daughters and I use it. I haven't used it with anyone else. For example, my one daughter rented a Air BNB last year, and we paid half, so I venmo'd her my half. Or I bought another daughter a year's pass to a children's museum and venmo'd her some extra money for parking (Christmas present)

I use Zelle through my bank to transfer money to friends & relatives. I use PayPal to pay for merchandise or services.

Venmo

I use Venmo all the time, mostly with family but also to pay for services - recently a landscaper and the guy who fixed my clothes dryer. I've had no problem with it at all. Even my mother uses it, and that's making a statement.

Yep. Makes things so easy with friends and my sister. I have even used it for a wedding gift. It felt tacky, but I didn't want to do cash and a check seemed too old-fashioned

I use it quite a bit with ease. I believe it's the same company as Paypal.

I use Venmo almost daily - !

My daughters and I use it to send money to each other. My piano students pay me on Venmo, I pay my dog groomer with it, and my ex even uses it to pay my child support!!

No complaints whatsoever.

I have it. Friends and I went in on a giftcard for someone. I paid for it initially and they paid me via Venmo. Another time my friend paid for a show initially so we'd all have seats together. I paid them via Venmo right after they submitted their payment.

It's convenient if you're not one to carry cash often or if you don't want to carry a large amount of cash.

I donít use an app, but I do interac etransfer through my bank all the time. Is that a Canadian thing? Iím not sure why someone would hook a bank account up to an app rather than go directly through their bank, but maybe Iím missing something.

Can any of these cash apps be connected to a credit card instead of a bank account?

I use Venmo mostly for people to pay me when they buy stuff I sell on FB. Sometimes Iíll pay when I buy things or when I split a check with someone when we are out.

Iíve also used Facebook Messenger Pay, PayPal, and Zelle. Theyíre all super easy.

I started using it in order to be paid back by friends who never carry cash. Between Venmo, credit card, & online banking/shopping, Iíve become one of those people who very rarely uses cash. Venmo is great!
FYI, I link it to a bank account instead of a cc to avoid a service fee.
