Vocabulary graphic organizer

I'm looking to revamp my current vocabulary graphic organizer that I use weekly for the story vocabulary words. Does anyone have one that they like to use? I'm looking for something that would be a 2sided page that would be able to fit a total of 8 words-have room for the word, definition, sentence, possibly synonyms and antonyms. Thanks!

You could tweak. I use with third graders.

Thanks iLuv3rd..... vocabulary is one of those things that can get really boring, so I'm interested in doing something different as well. Very nice and simple, thank you again for sharing.

Here's one that I use. I copy and paste it on the page so I have two words on the front and two on the back.

I have my kids draw "Vocab Squares" in a notebook for the vocab words. In the top left corner, they write the word. In the top right corner, they right "like words" (NOT just synonyms...I encourage them to use words they associate with the vocab word. i.e. if the word is "predator" they might use "wolf" as an associated word.) In the bottom left corner they draw a picture or symbol of the word. In the bottom right corner, they write "non-examples". Same as above, they don't just do antonyms. Then, under the box, they write a sentence that shows they know the meaning of the vocabulary word. THey can usually fit all the words on one page.

I make these for the fourth grade.

I like all the ideas suggested on this thread.

Vocabulary is important and research says that it is good to make a picture that describes the word to help cement the meaning. Also, somehow reward the students for using the words in class.

Emmy, Do you have a "blank" of this that you would be willing to share? I'd love to be able to customize these for my own class, and your format is wonderful!
