Here is my latest mosaic project. I include some bigger ceramic pieces rather than just tiles this time. There is a saucer, female figurine and a small dog. Most of the things I have made I am using for gifts at Christmas but this one is for me and is now hanging in my craft room.

This was last night's sunset.

The haze we are getting is from Canada fires. It was still 81 degrees at about 9pm last night, which is hot for Maine!

Iíve got a photo vent this week

Took my granddaughters to a gourmet ice cream place. These are kid size and cost $6. None of us even got to the top of the cup before we were full and we couldnít save them because ice cream doesnít travel well in heat. These portion sizes are a waste of food and money and a big reason why America has an obesity problem:

The new chair is here!

It arrived last Saturday (I think), and the boys approve. There was a wrestling takedown for chair domination that ended with Shawn (flufy blonde) the victor.

That reminds me so much of my younger son. He loved fireworks as a child. Still does at the ripe old age of 31.

Your GS is adorable!

I'll always grow lavender because I love to watch the bees - and apparently the dog likes to watch, too. Crossing my fingers she never tries to eat one.

The only hydrangea blooming this year.

I have 5 hydrangeas in my front yard. This is the only one that has produced flowers so far this year.

PDX teacher, I love watching the bees in my lavender patch too.

NG tube is out and we finally get a full look at little Jaiís cute face with no tubes stuck to his face! He has been a bit fussy today...who can blame him? I think the circumcision is more uncomfortable than the G tube...poor kiddo!

Rare twin sighting :)

DD/DS 24 are both visiting at my folks' beach house in Maine for the holiday weekend. He lives 2 hours away in Boston, she lives in DC so we are only able to all get together once or twice a year now. We went for lunch at the Allagash Brewery today.
I love waking up and knowing they are both here!
Pretty sure pic will be sideways. Sorry!

My nearly 10 year old Jack Dempsey cichlid died recently, so we moved the aquarium and got new fish. Jack wasnít a friendly type, so he had the entire 55 gallons to himself. Now we have two blue gouramis, two gold gouramis, seven tiger barbs, a rainbow shark, and a pleco.

Love the twin sighting!

Love little Jai!

This is my foot and my sonís foot. He is a spitting image of his dad. I finally found one thing he got from me! We have the same toes

Please notice the extremely soft and cozy blanket next to the hard box with crinkled up paper that she prefers to sleep in. At least this time she waited for me to remove the original contents.
