What are you looking forward to this week? What are you not looking forward to?

Looking Forward to:
-Some of the activities/lessons I have planned for the week
-No students on Friday and teachers can leave at lunch even though it's technically supposed to be a full day teacher work day.

Not Looking Forward to:
-Working on report cards
-Colder weather and snow
-Trying to get everything in during a 4 day week with some other interruptions.
-Dealing with my teaching partner.

This will go in both looking forward and not...
Calling to schedule our covid vaccinations!

Looking forward-getting the actual vaccination in early Feb. to feel better protected
Not looking forward-navigating the call -I'm trying the nearest location first and then see what they tell me. (It's not in our county so I don't know if that matters or not).

Looking Forward To
Getting my Covid-19 shot on March 18. I was fortunate that a friend shared a link to a site that had availability.

Definitely the inauguration. Here's to new beginnings and hope for national healing.

Trying some new recipes this week.

Some of my favorite network shows resume this week. Yay!

Not Looking Forward to
Cleaning

Taking my dog to the vet for vaccines. My regular vet is out for medical procedure, so she will be seeing someone else. Not looking forward to the bill.

Looking forward to
Having Monday off and only a three hour professional development session with no students on Thursday.
Watching the Bachelor with my husband on Monday night.
Watching the inauguration.

Not looking forward to:
I can’t think of anything for this week so that is a good sign.

Looking Forward to:
Babysitting all day on Tuesday. Nothing better than spending time with DGD.
Cooking some new recipes this week.

Not Looking Forward to:
The long day of babysitting. I need to leave my house at 6:30 and drive into the city. My DDIL wonít get home from work until about 9 pm and then I have almost an hour ride home. Just hoping for no snow to add to that ride. But itís worth it.

Looking forward to:
-Sleeping in an extra day tomorrow
-Finally getting my new HVAC installed- can't wait to have/use my smart thermostat- I've always wanted one!

Not looking forward to:
-Committee meeting two days after school this week
-MTSS meetings

I am very nervous for inauguration day. I am afraid something bad will happen. They've already boarded up downtown (and I'm over a thousand miles away from DC). I'm more looking forward to it being over than looking forward to it actually happening.

Looking forward to:
- a week of crafting
- Art Club with my BFF
- a week of not much rain!
- Walk&Talks with friends--talk on the phone and walk at the same time. Aren't cell phones grand?!

Not Looking forward to:
- periodontist appointment--driving and parking instead of public transit and the actual appointment
