I'm looking for a new vacuum. We have tile in main living areas and carpet in bedrooms.

Anyone have a vacuum they love? TIA

Shark!!! Go with a Shark!!! When I was looking a few years ago, that is what most of the PTers told me. I haven't looked back. Even bought one for our cabin.

Light, easy to handle and clean. It does EVERY type of floor - plush carpet, low carpet, tile, laminate (cannot wait to get rid of that!), and stairs are SOOOOO much easier!

I have the Lift-Away. I think most of their vacuums are Lift-Away actually.

I got my first one from QVC on the recommendation of a PTer as they were having a sale with extra attachments (that I really don't use much). The second came from Costco.

I posted the same thing a few months ago and ended up with this one:

Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe NV360 Upright Vacuum, None, Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JH98GR4..._45yDDbKHABV27

I also have the same floor setup as you and t works great for tile and carpet. I like that the head swivels. The only downside (which isnít that big of a deal at all!) is that in order to remove the hose to vacuum up small things in small areas, you have to have the cord completely unwound off the cord holders, because the hose is connected to the handles where the cord holders are.

I LOVE my Dyson V6 Motorhead! It's cordless, which is huge to me. It lasts about 15-20 min., which is long enough for my house. It's easy to clean, too. Just hit the button and it all dumps out.

It did clog up twice, but I figured out how to open it to clean it out so that's not an issue now.

They had it at Sam's Club when I got mine a few years ago, and it was a great price.

I got this one because it was recommended here (was it you, KatieViolet?) and I love it.

But if you decide to get it, look around—it was $30 cheaper in July.

I just purchased a Dyson from QVC on their 12 month payment plan and just love it! It is so light and picks up sooo much from our carpets and kitchen floor (linoleum with chunks missing from my previous vacuum - ugh). I even used it in my car and am very impressed! It is really worth the money.
