All of mine are really all around the junior high age.

Shampoo- Neutrogena- smell of it always brings me back to junior high.
Deodorant- I have no idea- I don't remember what I used, but probably Secret.
Perfume- most of my friends used Love's Baby Soft- that smell brings me back, too!
Face Wash- Oxy and Neutrogena, I think?
Soap- Ivory
Lips- Lipsmackers for sure!

There are probably things I'm forgetting that others will post and I'll have to edit and say "oh yeah, that's it!"

and yep! Noxema was big in junior high. Thanks, Anonymous

Oh yes, Mousse! Omg, the mouse! Thanks, Starr, for the reminder And Apricot St. Ives- that is totally what I used! And bookgeek- I loved Bonne Bell Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers! Mmmm. I'm drinking diet Dr. Pepper right now, so I obviously haven't grown out of the taste

We also used a lot of Aussie hair spray and other products. Probably shampoo, too. Oh, and Finesse. That was what my mom used, so we always had some.

And I JUST found this site: https://www.allure.com/gallery/80s-beauty-products for those of us from the '80s. I remember so many of those things! I owned a good chunk of them.

CF- yes, SeaBreeze! I totally remember that. I agree with Keltikmom- Listerine for your face!

My sister LOVED Sun-In.

When I was in high school everyone washed their face with Noxema. I don't even know if they make it anymore. I honestly don't know why teenagers used this to wash their face. It was kind of greasy.

We wore Sweet Honesty by Avon. I used to have Sweet Honesty bubble bath and body splash and Jean Nate fragrance.

Noxema cream for your face. It was like a tub of cream cheese or something!

Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific! shampoo, and also Prell.

Bonne Bell Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers. I still keep it in my purse bc it's the perfect shade for a quick lip touchup.

I loved wearing Elizabeth Arden's Sunflowers perfume. Oh, and Navy perfume too.

I'm sure I wore deodorant, but I doubt I was brand loyal. I'm still not. Is it on sale? Into my cart it goes!

I’ve always been a fan of makeup and beauty products.
  • Pantene shampoo & conditioner in peach bottles
  • Wet & Wild pink frost lipstick
  • Noxema in the blue pump bottle
  • Cover Girl foundation
  • Cheekers blush
  • Lip Potion
  • pink Dove soap
  • Liz Claiborne perfume
  • Aquanet hairspray

I still use Prell every now and then. It's a really good cleaner when I have build-up.

I remember my mom using ban roll-on.

And Aquanet...I have no idea why, but my parents always used that to spray bees with when they were in our house. I guess it would make their wings stick so they wouldn't fly around. It took me years to realize aquanet was hair spray and not bee spray.

In no particular order:

Lip smacker...grape and root beer were my faves along with the roll on goopy stuff.

My parents bought whatever shampoo, deodorant and soap was on sale, but when I was old enough to buy my own I used Ladies Speed Stick and stuck with sale shampoo. Aussie shampoo was too expensive until I got a decent job after college.

Loved my Love's Baby Soft Musk in high school.

I just used soap to wash my face.

GraceKrispy, thanks for the link. It helped this old brain remember a few more items:

LA Looks hair gel in college...I could smell it by just looking at the bottle .

Rave hair spray

Sea Breeze astringent to make my skin pucker up and scream at me

I remember using most of the products that have already been mentioned. How about this one: Sun-In? You would put it on your hair and lay in the sun, then your hair would have blonde streaks. And we would apply baby oil to our skin to get a tan, too! A lot of my friends wore Jean Nate cologne, but I didn't really like it. The smell of Caress bar soap reminds me of my great aunt's house.....she always had this soap in her bathroom when we would visit.

I have two blonde friends who swear by this as adults . Honestly both of them look pretty good, but I'm afraid to use it!

This wasn't one of the choices, but one of my very favorite hair products in high school was Aussie Sprunch Spray. You put it in wet hair and then you would blow dry with a diffuser for the "beachy waves" look. That's what I immediately thought of when I saw the title!

Something called ten oh six lotion. (Sp?) Anyone remember that? You put it on a cotton ball and wiped it on your face.

Jean Nate' body splash

Merle Norman stuff in college

Breck shampoo

Five Day deoderant pads

Avon lipstick samples. Those little tiny tubes!

Noxzema is the best and I still use it. When I'd break out, I'd put a blob of Noxzema on it at bed time and it was gone in the morning. I got my college roommates to switch to Noxzema and we all still use it and we're pushing 60.

Lipsmackers and 10-0-6 lotion, Bonne Bell products, were made near where I live now. I taught some of (founder) Jesse Bell's grandchildren (they're adults now). Their dad and aunt were featured in the Bonne Bell ads in magazines in the 70s, when they were teens. Their great aunt is a parishioner at the parish where I teach and her license plate is 10 0 6. The younger teachers have no idea what that means since it's no longer being made.

Ironically, 10-0-6 was too strong for me, but the bubblegum and Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers were the best. It was a sad day when Bonne Bell sold to another corporation since none of the children or grandchildren wanted to take over the family business.

and Oil of Olay. Anything Avon brand. I ended up with samples more often than actual product. Great lash? in the pink and green tube.

Baby oil as a regular for skin. A giant pink Goody comb in the back pocket.

Jean Nate' After Bath Splash - I should try to track down a bottle!

Posner brand pressed faced powder - I still remember the smell!

Lip Coolers - When I was a pre-teen, I wear these scenty lip glosses

Lip Gloss in the roller bottle - Cherry scent (although clear in color) was my fave

Lip Smackers - in the tin container - Also as a child/pre-teen

Bold Hold hairspray

AVON items - My Mom used to sell it

Avon Junior Cottillion perfume in Junior High. In high school, we wore Emauraude.

I remember Bonnie Belle 10-06

I used Prell shampoo because my mom told me it would keep my blonde hair from getting darker.

We always used spray deoderant after showering in PE class. No one would be caught dead using roll-on.
