Not quite sure how in 2nd Grade Iím supposed to differentiate for each student and ďmeet them where they areĒ yet also have all complete the exact same assignments.

the way some schools/ districts expect all kids to be doing the same assignments. We have a lot of problems here, but I am thankful we don't have that 1.

I agree-impossible! The district expects us to teach three or four grade levels in one. I also have a difficult time setting up any type of independent learning centers because a large majority cannot work independently. They simply need one to one instruction with everything. Many of the other students lack the motivation or desire to complete anything and could care less about quality or accuracy. They just want to get it done!
